 Guilherme Saro is a visual artist, born in the south of Brazil (Porto Alegre/RS) currently residing in London. His main techniques are painting and graffiti to deal with themes that relate word and image in works that transform calligraphy in pictorial language. The artist occupies himself with the urban daily life as a pretext for his production, always sensitive to the fringes of the city, where the danger and dirty of the alleyways, street corners and viaducts become poetical possibilities and activate reflexions about the democratization of sites, private property and distinctive artistic circles.
