"Circle of life" (2025)

The project represents a moving train of thought. With both the artist parents sadly passing away, unexpectedly in his arms. The artwork speaks of falling in love and giving, as an indescribable experience. During this challenging period the artist also discovered he was due to be a parent, all in a matter 20 months. These life changing moments all fuelled the powerful piece. The artist incorporated a multi disciplinary approach to the work with use of fire extinguisher filled with paint blasted at the canvas to produce abstract patterns mixed with traditional painting techniques. The piece was produced as part of an art residency Jan 2025 in London. Circle of life is created in a state of love and joy with the outcome resonating i’m  lucky to be alive.
