"Feel yourself"

Hannah( Disco Dickins) is the new wave of text artists using old school signage techniques to create new art forms. Her signage acts as un-contextualised modern day aphorisms. Sometimes questioning, through defamilarization of common speech from its field of action.

Creating a new perceptible interaction between the sense meaning and its new location as a stand alone work. Underlying the humour and politics of these signs is a critical analysis of everyday parlance in a reified new space.
